• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
• Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
• Repair damaged HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
• Requisition parts and materials and maintain inventory
• Provide complete information to accurately document corrective action, labor hours, and materials used on work orders

Qualified applicants must possess:

• Two or more years of related HVAC Installation experience experience and advanced training.
• EPA Certification
• Current Driver’s license that is in good standing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to listen, take direction and follow through with assigned tasks
• Ability to work effectively with all staffing levels
• Must be detail-oriented, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Children and adults both caught themselves reliving a moment of childhood too quickly forgotten as a real-life Frosty the Snowman rode by on his giant stack of Christmas presents.

Surrounded by the crowd and preceded and by the roving snowflake girls (rumored to be Frosty’s secret service), Frosty had a veritable entourage of fans and supporters cheering him on and (ostensibly) watching his back.
But all good things must come to an end, and alas, this winter festivity would reap benefits that Frosty would never sow.

Frosty was last seen in the early evening hours, shortly after the parade ended, pacing in front of a gas station ice chest, sweating profusely and fumbling with a carrot.
After intense investigation and analysis, our finest refrigeration experts surmise that Frosty was only able to sustain himself long enough to endure the last few moments of his second parade of the weekend.

The fact that such abnormal longevity was achieved at all in a snowman should be considered a feat in itself and a testament to the effectiveness of silk hat magic, especially when considering the recent decrease in the average snow-male life expectancy. This may perhaps be due in small part to the unusually cold weather for Florida at this time of year.
As of the time this article was written and published… Frosty is unreachable for comment and is generally assumed to have filtered into the Florida aquifer.

This year’s event was no exception, as local citizens gathered in droves to see what the community had come up for the 62nd annual DeLand Jaycees Christmas Parade…
The large parade events garner an ever increasing friendly competititive spirit as made evident by the annual increase of size and complexity of the floats themselves…

Here’s what the West Volusia Beacon had to say: “Acing first place in the parade – Ace Air Conditioning, [see pic], rolled away with first prize in the commercial division, during the DeLand Jaycees Christmas Parade on Dec 4. This year’s theme was ‘Christmas magic on mainstreet’.”

The Ace Air Conditioning crew would like to thank to everyone involved in making the parade a blast for all in attendance!!! Special thanks go to the Deland Middle School Marching Band, the Cub scouts (Pack 531), the DeLand Rotary Club, The House Next Door, Stetson University, and the City of Deland.
