Duties include:

• performing equipment sets
• start-ups
• condenser sets and preventative maintenance unassisted, without supervision;
• proper completion of all paperwork
• working with Service Manager in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment failures and customer home comfort issues
• selecting the appropriate diagnostic and repair charges from the flat rate book per company policy
• maintaining required levels of truck stock items
• advising Service Manager or Service Dispatcher if the assigned project begins to fall behind average repair times
• working with Service Manager, Operations Manager and Service Dispatcher on ideas for reducing costs within the Service department.

Qualified applicants must possess:

• Two or more years of related HVAC, Refrigeration and service experience or equivalent combination of experience and advanced training.
• EPA Certification
• Current Driver’s license that is in good standing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to listen, take direction and follow through with assigned tasks
• Ability to work effectively with all staffing levels
• Must be detail-oriented, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Debary, FL – Ace Air Conditioning is expanding into a new building. The 5,600 square foot structure will include a state of the art warehouse along with office space and a training room. The new facility is being built behind the existing office building on Enterprise Road.

“This is a new era for Ace Air Conditioning, and we are very excited about the direction our company is taking,” says Scott Palmateer, Operations Manager. The expansion comes after the recent addition of Ace Electrical. Ace now provides both Air Conditioning and Electrical services for new construction as well as existing structures.

The ground floor of the building will be mainly warehouse space and will also hold the offices of the warehouse and service managers. The second level will be office space, meeting rooms and a training center for employees.

The new building will be completed May, 2011. Ace Air Conditioning and Ace Electrical expect this expansion to help the company continue to grow and improve.

Today, the DeBary-based family-owned business is leaner and getting ready to expand its physical plant and available services.

Crews are currently constructing a 5,600-square-foot addition behind the company’s existing 2,700 square foot site here at 2985 Enterprise Road. The new space will be used for warehouse space, a training room and several offices.

Scott Palmateer, operations manager, said the move was prompted by the recent addition of a new division, Ace Electrical. Cory Palmateer, a master electrician, is joining his brother Scott and their father Eddie Palmateer in the business.
