Under the direction of the Service Manager, this HVAC Installer position is responsible for the following;

Duties include:

Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
Repair damaged HVAC systems
Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
Requisition parts and materials and maintain inventory
Provide complete information to accurately document corrective action, labor hours, and materials used on work orders

Qualified applicants must possess:

Two or more years of related HVAC Installation experience experience and advanced training.
EPA Certification
Current Driver’s license that is in good standing
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to listen, take direction and follow through with assigned tasks
Ability to work effectively with all staffing levels
Must be detail-oriented, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Bravo Cucina Italiana – Omaha

Omaha, NE – Ace Air Conditioning was awarded the Mechanical Contract for the Bravo Cucina Italiana opening in the Village Point shopping plaza in Omaha Nebraska. Ace will work alongside Mike Peterson Construction, a Las Vegas based company with extensive experience in commercial construction including restaurants, medical facilities, casinos and office spaces.

The building has seven existing Carrier units. The mechanical contract includes a new Aaon rooftop packaged unit, two Fujitsu AHUs and one Fujitsu condenser as well as all hoods and exhaust fans. Ace will also install the walk-in coolers and freezers for the restaurant.

Bravo Cucina Italiana will open Fall, 2012.

Country Inn and Suites

Port Orange, FL - Ace Air Conditioning was awarded the mechanical contract for the new Country Inn and Suites located at 5802 Journey's End Drive across from the Pavilion of Port Orange. The four-story building will include eighty-seven sleeping rooms as well as a conference room, a fitness room and a spacious lobby.

Ace will partner with local general contractor, J & A builders, Inc. The mechanical contract includes installation of four Addison 100% fresh air split systems, sixty-seven Amana PTAC room units, Twenty Amana VTACs, seven straight cool Carrier split systems, two Carrier ductless mini splits as well as exhaust fans, a laundry chute, commercial dryer vents, Onity thermostats with PIR sensors and remote PIRs in the two room suites.

The hotel is set to open December 5th, 2011.

Tomoka Landfill

Port Orange, FL – Ace Air Conditioning has been awarded the mechanical contract for a new break room to be built at the Tomoka Landfill on Tomoka Farms Road.

The HVAC contract will include installation of a high efficiency 3.5 ton Carrier Infinity straight cool system, a Carrier EZ Flex air filter and a communication Infinity thermostat. Ace will also provide and install an air to air energy recovery system, a Bioclimatic air purification system and a portable dehumidifier, as well as all exhaust ventilation and all sheet metal ductwork.

Ace Air Conditioning will partner with Schuller Construction. This project is set to be completed in January of 2011.

Premier Surgery Center

Tavares, FL — Ace Air Conditioning, Inc. has been awarded the mechanical contract for The Premier Surgery Center, a 20,000 square foot, state-of-the-art medical facility on Vindale Road in Tavares. Ace will partner with Cotter Ryan General Contractors. Cotter Ryan specializes in new commercial construction and has extensive experience with medical buildings.

Ace Air Conditioning will install five medical grade Aaon rooftop units and four Carrier systems. The building will include 9,000 square feet of office space as well as a full surgical center.
